The three album releases and their accompanying tours drew attention to The Koffin Kats and contributed to the band perception of punk and psychobilly in the big world.Build on their original sound of twanged-out punk rock greed Billy Life of Sin 2004 Gutterbillyblues 2007 they began to find lost musicians along the way and to improve their sound. Due to new grants which they have taken on board in recent years the sound they first had to forge transformed so to speak and eventually take shape as something full and complex not to mention musically brilliant. As a guest musician Andy Gibson offers at least one track of steel guitar. Joe Perreze The Perreze Farm contributes to most of the songs on the Banjo album. Besides the musical elements that made The Gallows Sound big there are a handful of brand new and impressive elements that make their current sound even bigger.
